So my last watched movie was Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, as expected it featured: Johnny Depp (Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), Penélope Cruz (Vanilla Sky, Sahara) and Geoffrey Rush (The King's Speech, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers) amongst others.
As expected the our beloved pirated, Jack Sparrow is in search of the fountain of youth, as shown at the end of the previous movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Now because this movie was released recently I am not going to tell you the plot as most of us have not seen it yet. However I can tell you that it is good, if you have seen the trailer, it lives up to my expectations. (If you have not seen it, it is right below)
The movie is great the acting, the plot, and almost everything else, but I have to say this, in my opinion it does lack the previous characters: Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and others such as Pintel and Ragetti. It feels as if something is missing, the "deceivery" and complex plot twists. Overall it it does not feel to serious, with the previous movie, At Worlds End, it was on the scale of EPIC, you felt something serious is going on with the British so close to capturing everyone. With this they take a back step and tone it down. With that being said, the movie is really good - the humour will always be there and so will the great plot.
My rating of this Edition in the Pirates of the Caribbean series is: 8/10 IMdB thinks it is only worth a 7, but hey what do they know :)

Still on my to-watch list, even despite it's 33% on RT.
